We agree with Tina, that fractions were really cool, and slope is a really hard lesson we might need to practice over and over again!

1- What was your favorite part about Pre-Algebra this year? Fractions
2- Name three specific mathematical concepts that you learned this year. Dimensions, fractions, solving equation
3- Do you feel prepared for Algebra next year? What are some areas you may need to work on? Yes, slope
4- I have had the pleasure of teaching the majority of you for the past two years. What were your general feelings toward math upon entering the 6th grade? How have those feelings changed over the past two years? Write at least three sentences that explain your feelings toward mathematics. Before I enter 6th grade I don't really like math but now math is my favorite subject.

1. What was your favorite part about Pre-Algebra this year?

- I loved the scavenger hunt, learning about negative exponents, and the geometry section was interesting, too.

2. Name three specific mathematical concepts that you learned this year.

- The Pythagorean Theorum, The Golden Ratio, and how to find the area of various polygons.

3. Do you feel prepared for Algebra next year? What are some areas you may need to work on?

- Yes, I feel that I'd do pretty well if I just kept up to date with all of my assignments. I need to work on responsibility and also, maybe a little bit of cancelling out variables/exponents. I messed up in that a few times.

4. I have had the pleasure of teaching the majority of you for the past two years. What were your general feelings toward math upon entering the 6th grade? How have those feelings changed over the past two years? Write at least three sentences that explain your feelings toward mathematics.

- Well, at the begging of 6th I didn't like math at all. The previous year I had Ms. Neiman as a teacher, and she wasn't exactly my favorite. Now, after two years of having a really fun teacher and a great group as a class, I have learned to enjoy math and it has turned into my favorite class. :)

5. Comment on at least two other student posts.
- Sorry, but I can't see any of the other posts, I had this page loaded before anyone posted.

I also agree with Arianna, we love the way you teach, you make the problems seem simple and you explain it so well in a way we understand.

I agree with Kartik and Abbey because i thought that math would be really easy to but once i started it begun to become harder. Abbey because its true that you gave many people good attitudes towards math for us to start liking it more. :)

We agree with Abbey because we share the same likes for the first question:D.

We also like what Ariel put and agree with it. (Our favorite was geometry and functions (the girls can cheat, but boys can’t rule).

1.1. What was your favorite part about Pre-Algebra this year?

Mari: I think my favorite part was learning new concepts I actually didn't learn last year because I was in normal math.

Clau:Doing the Recipe for Disaster Project.

2. Name three specific mathematical concepts that you learned this year.
Both: variables, fractions,Pythagorean theorem

3. Do you feel prepared for Algebra next year? What are some areas you may need to work on?

Mari: Sort of, this year's lessons were a little hard for me but I beleive i might need to practice more the last lessons we learned.

Clau: I kind of do, i need to practice some concepts like surface area and volume.

4. I have had the pleasure of teaching the majority of you for the past two years. What were your general feelings toward math upon entering the 6th grade? How have those feelings changed over the past two years? Write at least three sentences that explain your feelings toward mathematics.

Mari: I like a lot math, specially with such a good teacher! I think my general feelings were nerves of entering into a new grade, new teachers, and new lessons. Those feelings changed when I started learning more and more, and I think I totally understand better math now.

Clau: I love math! There is always one specific answer, it is exact and simple! Well, maybe it is not that simple, but by practicing and working you can become very good at it and have fun (:
