YOU are a screenwriter (someone who writes movies). The character in your new movie must use their brain to think of clever ways to save the world from destruction, but there are a number of problems that he or she must face. Write a synopsis of this movie, and include at least three problems, each from a different section of Chapter 8. These problems will have to be solved by your protagonist to save the world! Be creative!

While Mr.Jobe was boring his students to death, and half of the class was sleeping. A meteor came and destroyed Mexico. So the x-intercept and the y-intercept of y=x+8 would equal the amount of deaths?
However the slope of the line that passes through each pair of points like A(1,-3) B(5,4)?
Then aliens came and brought us the swine flu then -15+z=3 alines got the bird flu, so how many are left.

5 minutes later the world ended when 500 nuclear bombs exploded in Mexico in an attempt to stop the swine flu.

One day Juanito came back from the police station where he worked as an officer, to his house. He was very tired and the only thing he wanted to do was to sit on his couch and watch t.v., buy he did not know what was awaiting him. When he entered his house he found something odd, in the house. He then entered the living room and found a t.v. with a video camera. In the t.v. there was a man, when Juanito walked closer the guy started to talk. He told Juanito he had kidnapped his dog, and would kill him and all the city with a bomb, if he wouldn’t answer 3 questions right. If he wouldn’t answer them in less than 20 min, thw whole city would burn. The guy on the t.v. gave Juanito an equation and Juanito started to work on it. The equation was the following: y= x+2, Juanito got x=-2 as an answer, then he tried the next problem which was to find the slope of these coordinates: (3,4), (4,6) and he finally got -2 as an answer. He was doing well but now came the last and most important problem. Find the slope and the Y-intersect of this equation y=5x=3, and finally got m=5, and b=3. He did it he saved the world.

Aliens had arrived to destroy the Earth, they are enemies since long time ago. Today the aliens have an opportunity to come to the Earth to argue with the humans. To solve the problem, they decided to make a treaty. The treaty is if the humans can answer the three math questions aliens ask and so they wont bother the humans again. Humans agree with this, they chose three human genius representatives to answer the question. The first question was is (2,4)(8,9)(4,6)(2,8)(7.9)is this a function why or why not? one of the humans answered no, this is not a function because the x is repeated. the second question was solve for the y and x intercept y=x+4. the human answered without thinking x=-4 y=4. it is correct, the aliens took 2 years to answer this question. the third question was find the slope of (4,6)(2,4). one of the humans answer m=1, it is correct. the humans had answer the three questions correct they have saved their planet!!
