From chapter 1 I chose lesson 1 because that is the chapter where we learn the basics of math. From chapter 2 i chose lesson 2 because it id the basic of learning and also tells us what’s coming up ahead. From chapter 3 i chose lesson 5 because it is mixed with addition , subtraction, multiplication, and division, which confuses us a bit but we get it later. From chapter 4 I chose lesson 7 because it is a little bit mixed up so we confused with negative exponents. From chapter 5 i chose lesson 7 because it gives us much more than adding like fractions. From chapter 6 i chose lesson 2 because this is the lesson where we use proportion and proportions are used everywhere. SO it is really important for us to use proportions also. From chapter 7 i chose lesson 1 because it is the hardest and we have to do eery operation in this lesson including simplifying.

Chpt 1.-1-4 because all of the properties explain to us what we should know for algebra.
Chpt 2-2-3 because we use this all year long.
Chpt.3-3-because if we hadn’t learn this we wouldn’t be able to do equations with variables.
Chpt.4-4-3 because if we hadn’t learn this we couldn’t have shortcuts.
Chpt.5-5-1 because it teaches us how to turn fractions into decimals and is used in other lessons.
Chpt.6-6-6-2 because it teaches us how to do proportions and we’ll use this for the rest of our lives.
CHpt.7-7-? I believe we can’t say which one because we haven’t finished the chapter.
But THE MOST IMPORTANT MATH LESSON award goes to……………………6-6 because we will use this for the rest of our lives.

I think the most important lesson in chapter 1 is lesson 3 is the most important because if you don’t know how to find the answer for a variable it would be hard to do any problems when you go up into algebra.
Chapter 2 lesson 1 because it gives you the basics of integers and to get you the idea how its gonna be.
Chapter 3 lesson 2 because it teaches you what are the like terms, constants, term, coefficient, and constant and if you don’t know what they are you wont do well in math when you move on.
Chapter 4 lesson 5 because you need to know how to simplify fractions and get into harder things after and it would be easier for you to do.
Chapter 5 lesson 1 because it gives you the idea of how to change fractions into a decimal and decimals into fractions when your dealing with real life situations.
Chapter 6 lesson 2 so when you learn to do proportions you could cross multiply easier and you could simplify easier and get your answer faster.
Chapter 7 lesson 1 because it is important to know how to solve problems with variables.

1.1-3 because you have to know how to use variables and expressions to be able to do algebra. Also we need them because we couldn’t do the problems we do now without that.
2. 2-1 because you have to know how to use integers to be able to
do algebra also because there are numbers, so they are good to know how to use them well.
3. 3-1 because it is the distributive property, so for doing problems like the ones that we are doing now, we need to know how to use the distributive property.
4. 4-2 because we have used powers and exponents a lot, so they are very useful when you are doing math problems.
5. 5-1 because when you get older, and don’t have a calculator, this can be very helpful for doing different kinds of problems.
6. 6-8 because when you are trying to figure something out in a bank or when you are going to lease a car, this can be very useful because you can figure out how much your lease went up or something like that.
7. 7-1 because it can help you find different things, and perimeter like we are doing and also many other things. Also doing this with the distributive property like we are doing is very useful.

1-3 because it taught us about variables and algebraic expressions. without this lesson we couldn’t do any of the problems we can solve now.
2-1 because it taught us about integers and absolute value, which we use on a day to day basis in our problems today.
3-1 because it taught us about the distributive property. this is important because to solve the problems we solve today we need to know this.
4-7 because we need to know about negative exponents to solve a lot of the problems we solve today.
5-1 this lesson taught us about rational numbers which are a key factor in being able to solve the problems we solve today.
6-1 is important because it teaches us about ratios and rates which are something we need to know.
7-1 because it taught us about solving equations with variables on each side which is something we need to know how to do by know because it is something that will incorporate a lot more than it does now in future math problems that we solve.

I think 1-3 is important because Variables and Expressions are in almost every math problem. I think 2-6 is important because it is a new idea that appears. Another important lesson is 3-2 because Simplify Algebraic Expressions is very important to be able to learn other subjects. Another lesson that I think is important is lesson 4-1 because it is a good review to help you remember about factors and Monomials. Another lesson that I think is important is 5-1 because Fractions and Decimals because they are both important in having a base to be able to go to Geometry. Another lesson is 6- 2 because using proportions is very important because almost everything has to do with proportions in real life or in math. Another lesson that is important is lesson 7-1 about Solving Equations with Variables on each side because it is found in daily life and is important to have as a base.
I think that the most important lesson out of all of these is is 6-2 because using proportions is vital in using percents, fractions and many other things.

I thought that there were many important chapters. one of them was 1-3 because there you learn the basics of algebra. that chapter is very important because if you don understand that the whole chapter will be very hard to do and you will have trouble with the hole book and not understand the well enough. I also think that unit 3, chapter 7 was important concepts because it was all about equations and that would be very important to know for the whole unit.

I think the most important lesson in chapter 1 is lesson 3 because if you don’t know how to solve the variable it is hard to do problems when you get to algebra.
Chapter 2 is lesson 1 because it shows the absolute value and the terms of integers, showing you what the lesson is going to be about.
Chapter 3 is lesson 2 because it is simplifying expressions to solve them easier and faster. It is also important because it shows you the terms of coefficients, simplifying like terms, and constants, that help you simplify the algebraic expression by knowing the terms.
Chapter 4 is lesson 4 because it teaches you greatest common factor, that is important to learn to solve other harder problems to simplify the numbers of algebraic fractions.
Chapter 5 is lesson 1 because it’s writing fractions as decimals, that you will use later on in other lessons for other problems, so it’s important to know how to do it.
Chapter 6 is lesson 4 because it teaches how to turn percents into fractions, fractions as percents, percents as decimals, and decimals to percents; that is important to know.
Chapter 7 is lesson 1 because it shows you how to solve equations with variables in each sides, and you need to learn that before you start doing other equations and inequalities.

Chapter one: 1-1 Using problem-solving plan because it teaches us how to solve problems in real life.
Chapter two: 2-3 2-4 Evaluating and simplifying algebraic expressions because it is the base of many other units and steps farther along.
Chapter three: 3-7 Using formulas to solve real-world and geometry problems because you can use it in real- world situations.
Chapter Four: 4-8 Writing numbers in scientific notation because it makes easier writing big numbers.
Chapter five: using mean, median, and mode to analyze data because they help us find information we need to work for.
Chapter six: 6-4 writing decimals and fractions as percents and vice versa because it helps us in the grocery store and stores to find discounts.
Chapter seven: 7-3 Writing and graphing inequalities because it will help you in along the way to determine greater and less than numbers.
For me the most important lesson/s are all because you’ll need them all so I don’t think there is only one lesson that is the most important.
