we believe this was the best thing we have done in math this year and ever. It was very fun and stressing. but at the end we had so much fun we would love to do it again. we got second place and it was hard in some parts and easy in others.

The scavanger hunt was the best!!!!!!!! We should do ths after every chapter!! One of the best parts of it was that we could run around the school and it was super fun having to go to the teachers and ask them for the clues!!! There is nothing I didn’t like about the scavanger hunt, and I wouldn’t change anything. THE SCAVANGER HUNT WAS SUUUUUUPER FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite part was the bearded giant because of its funny name. Another of my favorite part was the one with the CSI chief.

I didn’t have any least favorite part because it was so funny.
I would have changed the part of the Queen of Councel to a more exact name because Mrs. D is called queen D too.

The scavenger hunt was SOOOOOOO AWESOME AND FUN!!!!!!! It is a better way to review than just written work. It also showed you how to work together as a team. I LOVED IT!!!!!!! We should do it again!!

The scavenger hunt was really interesting and challenging. It was a great review and I believe it was a lot better than any test we’ve done.

I liked everything!! But I didn’t like dancing in front of Mr. Kat’z class. I wouldn’t change everything because it was good.

  • 14    David Z // Nov 20, 2008 at 1:34 pm

    This was the best ever!!!!
My favorite part of the scavenger hunt was the part when we to figure out the gravity in meters per second.
My least favorite part of this scavenger hunt was that some of the problems where a little confusing.
I would create more obstacles such as running to some place or something related to a physical excersice.

The scavenger hunt was DEFINETELY the best thing we’ve done in math this year. My favorite part was that of the “don’t fear the bearded giant”, it was hilarious, especially when the 8th graders started clapping and dancing with us. I had no least favourite part, it was excellent. I wouldn’t change anything, just make it longer.
” I’m a little teapot, short and stout!”

The scavenger hut was so awesome. I want 1 more like it. But the questions were kind of hard. Oh well. I loved the part with Mr. Katz when we had to the T-pot. IT was really fun when we had to do stuff with the teachers. I AM RESTATING IT WAS AWSOME!!

  • 17    Andres S. // Nov 25, 2008 at 1:19 pm

My favorite part was when we had to do the teapot dance because it was funny and embarrassing. My least favorite part was when we had to do the Blackmon thing because me and kartick sort of got stuck there. I think they should make you do more things like the teapot dance for full classes.

Chapter 4 is all about factors and fractions but in almost every section there are exponents I think they are trying to tell us that for the rest of your life you will see exponents. Well I think the book is telling us that exponents are important.

i likes the scavenger hunt. it was fun

  • 20    Abbey N // Nov 25, 2008 at 1:23 pm

I loved it and I think that we should do this for every unit because it really helped us study the math in a very cool way and I think that it was a lot better than doing something like going over a work sheet in class or for homework.
I think that we should do more running and stuff, maybe we should put like some how soccer related stuff into the game. And I also like the “I’m a little teapot” thing to.

I liked the scavenger hunt a lot. It probably has been the fun-nest and best thing we have ever done in a math class. My favorite thing was when we had to go into Mr.Katz’s room and start doing the teapot thing in the middle of class. I wish there would have been more of those. My least favorite part was the one where we had to go and run to Ms.Blackmon’s class, when she wasn’t even there, so that slowed a lot of people down. In my opinion, the only thing that i would change is that u would put many more of those “dances” so that we laugh and have fun while doing it.

  • 25    Brian S // Nov 25, 2008 at 1:32 pm

Chapter 4 prepares you for chapter 5. I think that the editors wanted to prepare you for the next chapter

  • 26    Abbey N // Nov 25, 2008 at 1:32 pm

chapter 4 was all about, prime factorizations, powers, exponents, prime and composite, standard form, GCF, and more specific stuff on each.

  • 27    David M // Nov 25, 2008 at 6:20 pm

i liked the scavenger hunt. i wouldn’t change anything about it. my favorite part was singing in front of Mr.Katz class. i especially liked seeing other people sing to him.
